Position: Junior Associate 

Reports to: Senior Vice President of Client Management 

Compensation: $20.00/hour, 40 hours per week 

Location: Hybrid (remote + Asbury Park, NJ)  
 

Approximate Start Date: August 15, 2025 

Approximate End Date: January 31, 2026, with possibility to extend to June

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Junior Associate to join our team for the Fall/Winter. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public affairs, policy advocacy, and strategic communications. You will work closely with senior team members on high-impact projects for diverse clients. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support the development and implementation of public affairs strategies. 

  • Conduct research on policy issues, stakeholder landscapes, and industry trends. 

  • Assist in drafting reports, memos, bios, and communication materials. 

  • Assist in drafting creative copy including ad copy, social media copy. 

  • Monitor earned and social media for clients and send out clips. 

  • Attend and summarize key internal meetings and client calls. 

  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support project execution. 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Political Science, Communications, Marketing, Public Policy, or a related field. 

  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Interest in public policy, stakeholder engagement, and communications strategy.
